Roswell Police Explorers
is a group for young men and women aged 14-20, who are interested in a possible career in law enforcement or just want firsthand law enforcement experience. Meetings are held Thursday nights at 7:00 at the Roswell Police Department. |
*Post 10 victoriously won two trophies at the recent Augusta, GA competition, and placed in several individual events in Gatlinburg, TN.*

In July of 2002, Post 10 attended the National Law Enforcement Explorer Conference in Flagstaff, Arizona. This conference is held every other year in a different location, and facilitates more than 4,000 police explorers from around the world. Post 10 victoriously took fifth place overall in the traffic stop competition. Above, explorers and advisors pose after a recognition ceremony at the September 4th City of Roswell council meeting.

Goals of Post 10
The Roswell Police Explorer program works hard to develop character building, leadership, and appreciation for the community. The Post helps serve as a potential recruitment tool for any young man or woman that may want to pursue a possible career in Law Enforcement. Two of Roswell's finest are former Roswell Police Explorers, and three current explorers are employed in the communications center and detention center. |
